Bio: Pelly loves whitewater paddling and embraces all the challenges it presents. Pelly competed in his first season as a junior this past year and improved on all of his results.
Pelly won the Canadian Men’s Junior Champion title at Canadian Nationals in 5 separate categories –Downriver Classic and Downriver Sprint in the Canoe 1 division, as well as Slalom, Downriver Classic and Downriver Sprint in the canoe 2 division. He is the first Yukoner to be invited to Junior National Slalom Team and Junior National Wild-water Team.
Along with his National Team selection, Pelly was also been invited to compete for Team Canada at the 2015 Junior/U23 World Slalom Championships in Brazil.
Pelly has also competed in the last 2 Arctic Winter Games in ski and snowshoe biathlon. He is a dedicated paddler, rock climber, mountain biker, snowboarder, and biathlete.
