NEW TIMING SYSTEM FOR THE YUKON

We are excited to announce funding from Lotteries Yukon has enabled Sport Yukon to purchase a new timing system that is available for events in the Yukon at any scale!

What’s Available

We have a world-class timing system from ChronoTrack ready for your next event!

Available timing hardware includes:

  • AeroTrack Devices

    • Small, portable & lightweight, the AeroTrack Reader is incredibly accurate and easy to set up and use.

    • Can be used with a SIM card or connected to Wifi.

  • MiniTrack

    • The power to any start and/or finish line, the MiniTrack connects with your timing mats & flashpoints to capture those reads without a worry.

    • Must be LAN connected.

  • Timing Mats & Flashpoint

    • Mats come in 3.5’ sections to create a 14’ start or finish line. They are custom molded to fit the system’s antennas & cables, keeping the timing area clean & ready to capture.

    • Want to add a bit more security to make sure not one read is missed? The flashpoints will do just that while being lightweight, adjustable, and easy to set up.

Ancillary Items

To be able to support all sorts of unique events, there are also a number of other equipment that was purchased to support the new timing system:

  • Two Toughbook Laptops to use and connect to the MiniTracks at your start/finish.

  • Six Mini StarLinks to provide connection to your AeroTracks along your race courses.

  • A Nighthawk Mobile Hotspot that can also be connected to the MiniTracks at your start/finish.

  • Vertical start/finish line towers to protect the Flashpoints and MiniTracks.

  • Timing Tags, whether for single use on bibs and bikes, or multi-use like tri tags, there are a variety of ways we can use these and determine what fits your event best.
