Bio: Bryn started cross country skiing with her family and friends when she was very young and joined the Cross Country Yukon Orange Squad at the age of 8.  Bryn has been a member of the Yukon Cross Country Ski Team since 1997 and has worked extremely  hard through her green, blue and red squad levels to become one of the teams leaders.

Bryn had a very successful year in 2006, returning to the level of competition she used to enjoy in 2003.  After under going major surgery, suffering from great physical and mental setbacks, Bryn set out on the long road of recovery.  Her dedication, commitment and perseverance has paid off.  Bryn won two silver medals and one bronze at the Western Canadian Championships hosted in Whitehorse last March.  Her highlight was her bronze medal performance in the 5km race at the 2006 Canadian Championships in Thunder Bay, Ontario.  Bryn also placed ranked 5th in 1 km skate sprint, 6th in 5 km classic, 16th in 10 km classic with a total ranking of 6th Overall.  As well Bryn competed in competitions in Anchorage and Canmore, Alberta in the past competitive season.  Bryn’s patience and love of skiing have enabled her to return to a highly competitive level.
