Come cheer on the Glacier Bears as well as visiting swim teams from the Northwest Territories and Alaska.

Cross Country Championships

The annual Yukon Cross Country Championships is one of Athletics Yukon's most popular events

Location: Mt Mac Trails

Date: Saturday, September 21st. Sign in at 10:30am. Event starts at 11:00 am

All athletes must pre-register; there will be no day-of event registration.

Cost: Free for Athletic Yukon members and pre-authorized clubs (for authorization contact Kristen Johnston by email - president@athleticsyukon.ca )

Please note: You must have a 2024 Athletics Yukon Membership to participate. Visit our website to purchase your membership.

Events/distances for all ages (family friendly event). Distance varies by age category, but mostly follows a 1km and 2km Loop.

Cricket Yukon’s Final Tournament 2024

Cricket Yukon is excited to announce its 2024 Championship Tournament. The final game will occur on August 18, 2024, at 5 PM on the CKES Football Field!

Additionally, they are pleased to share that Cricket Yukon is introducing a new format of the game in the coming weeks. For the first time, we will be playing with a proper leather cricket ball, moving from our traditional formats. This marks a significant milestone for us, as it brings us closer to the standards of the sport as played internationally.

Yukon Champs

This is a fun event for all! Flatwater North encourage all participants from all their programs and the general public to come out and join us for this event.

  • The event is held at the Schwatka Lake Day Use Area.

  • Race distances for all sprint kayak & canoe, SUP, and marathon bots are from: 200m, 500m, 1500m, as well as 500m team boat events.

*with a fun 100m "try a sprint boat race"

  • A kayak relay and a tub rec canoe c4 to close out the event


The club can provide all the gear needed to race. There will be a BBQ with hot dogs, burgers, and drinks provided.

9 AM - 10 AM sign up, warm-up
10AM - 11AM Sprint Boat, Marathon, and SUP
11 AM - 12 PM Fun Rec Races
12 PM - 2 PM Awards, and BBQ (Hot dog, Burgers, drinks)

Registration fees: Fee is donation based (suggested 10$) which covers prizes and hot meal. Please select the Yukon Championship icon in the registration link provided to sign up.
