Gary Bailie

Bio: Gary is a leader, a builder, and a cornerstone not only of the cross-country ski community but of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation, of Whitehorse, and of the Yukon Territory.

His work with the Kwanlin Koyotes ski program is just one example of his leadership in entrenching positive values in young people who will become, in their own time, the future role models and leaders of their people. And in helping older people survive the generational chaos that is the legacy of the assimilation politics of the past.
