Bio: Ted Stephens started and completed his minor hockey career in Whitehorse. During those years, he has represented the Yukon at Arctic Winter Games, and the Canada Winter Games in 2007, where he finished tied in team scoring with 5 points and one shootout goal.
During the summer of 2007, he was noticed by the Moncton Wildcat Scouting Staff, and started as a rookie that fall. Ted was the first Yukoner to play in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, and is currently playing his third season there.
He finished off the 2008/09 season strongly, and lead Moncton in Playoff goal scoring with 11 points in 10 Games, being named first star in 2 games.
Ted attended the Montreal Canadian’s Combine in June 2009, and received an invite to attend their Rookie Camp in September. Unfortunately, two days before he was to leave for Montreal, a mix up in filing his amateur tryout form prevented him from attending.
