Bio: Rachel possesses a combination of great attributes. She has shown dedication and great work ethic through each day of training, both on and off the ice. She has persevered through many obstacles over the past two seasons, including competitive disappointments, injuries and the sacrifice of leaving home for training.
Rachel earned personal best competition results throughout the skating year. A personal best score of 109.92 at the 2014 Super Series Autumn Leaf Competition in October was followed by a score of 112.06 at the 2015 Skate Canada Challenge in December. This event allowed her to qualify for Nationals in January 2015, where she scored a new personal best total of 112.87, resulting in her national titlr. In February 2015 at the Canada Winter Games, Rachel skated to another PB score of 115.87, which resulted in a Gold Medal for Team Yukon, in front of a loud and supportive Yukon crowd. After moving up to the Junior Division, Rachel has continued to collect medals and personal best score. In August, at the 2015 Glacier Falls Summer Classic in Anaheim, Rachel achieved a total score of over 130 points and earned a bronze medal finish at the 2015 Super Series Summer Skate in August, due in part to a personal best finish in the Short Program.
