Bio: Knute Johnsgaard, a cross-country skier from Whitehorse, was profiled in the Calgary Herald in 2015 as a member of the National Under 25 Ski Team. During the 2015-16 season, he competed in over 35 races across Canada and Europe, securing podium finishes in 10 of them, including three first-place wins. He finished in the top 10 for more than half of these races. Notably, Knute raced in 10 World Cup events in 2014, earning his first World Cup points by placing in the top 30 in one race.
