Bio: Emily Nishikawa is a cross-country skier from Whitehorse, Yukon. She made her Olympic debut at Sochi 2014, where she competed in three events, including a 14th-place finish in the 4x5km relay. At the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympics, she competed in all six women's cross-country skiing events, placing within the top 20 in the 4x5km relay and the team sprint.
Emily competed in three editions of the FIS World Under-23 Championships in 2010, 2011, and 2012, with a top result of 16th in the 10km freestyle in 2011. In 2013, she participated in her first FIS World Championships.
Emily made her World Cup debut in January 2008. She split her time between the elite circuit and the Nor-Am Cup, where she was the overall champion in 2013-14 and 2014-15, winning six events in the latter season. She finished third overall in the 2016-17 Nor-Am Cup standings, with four victories. In her World Cup career, Emily has finished in the top 30 twice individually.
