Bio: Etienne Geoffroy-Gagnon, a freestyle skier from Whitehorse, Yukon, has spent another remarkable ski season on the international stage. In 2018, he won gold at the Canada Cup in Calgary, gold at the NorAm Cup at Mammoth Mountain, California, and bronze at the NorAm Cup in Calgary.
In 2021, he received his first invitation to the prestigious Dew Tour slopestyle competition. The Dew Tour, a significant step beyond World Cup competitions and towards the X Games, also served as a qualifier for the Winter Olympics. Competing at Copper Mountain, Colorado, from December 14-18, Etienne finished third in the qualifications and eighth overall. As of 2021, he ranks 19th internationally in slopestyle skiing and 49th in big air skiing.
