Bio: Geoffrey Hodgson is a Yukon rower. In 2003, Geoffrey was a finalist in the International Male Athlete of the Year as a result of his performances at the World Rowing Championships in Milan, Italy in August where Geoff and his partner Kevin Burt and coxswain Brian Price won a Bronze Medal in the Coxed Pair Event. The men’s crew which Geoff was a spare for then went on to win both the Four and the Eight at the Championships. Geoff also participated in the Pan American Regatta in the Dominican Republic in August where he raced in the Four and the Eight, and won a Silver Medal in the eight. This was a great experience for Geoff as it was the first time since the Canada Games that he participated in a large multi-game event. Geoff also switched to sculling to race at the BC Championships, which he won in a Double with Chris Jarvis.
