Route Setting Clinic
Hey climbers! Interested in developing your routesetting skills? Climb Yukon is offering a two-day masterclass clinic with Andreas Lerch one of Canada's leading routesetters. Andreas will be in Whitehorse next week setting the inaugural routes for the Climb Yukon Collective gym along with familiar faces and will be sharing his knowledge and experience.
Want to learn more about what makes a good route? Curious about potentially working or volunteering as a routesetter at the gym one day? Love colours and shapes and want to play with plastic for a couple days? This clinic's for you

Dustball 2025
Dustball 2025 will be limited to 65 teams (15 Men’s teams, 10 Women’s teams and 40 Co-ed teams) As each division is filled a waiting list will be compiled and if a division does not fill, efforts will be made to add the teams on the waiting list.
Registration will be on a “first come-first served basis” - a team will not be considered registered unless Softball Yukon is in receipt of the entry fee and the completed online registration.
Dustball 2025 will begin Thursday July 17, at 5:00 PM, and the final games will be completed by approximately 5:00 PM Sunday, July 20 ALL TEAMS ARE EXPECTED TO BE READY TO PLAY THURSDAY JULY 17.

Tennis Northern Cup
Join Tennis Yukon for the Northern Cup - an annual tennis tournament welcoming players from across the North! This year’s tournament will take place from July 18th to 20th, featuring exciting singles, doubles and mixed doubles matches for both men and women. All individuals from the Yukon, NWT and Alaska will compete against each other. Game scores will count towards a running total for the territory/state. The leading territory/state wins the cup! All participants are guaranteed two scheduled matches.

Yukon Paddling Championships
This is a fun event for all! They encourage all participants from all their programs and the general public to come out and join them for this event.
Race distances for all sprint kayak & canoe, SUP, and marathon bots are from: 200m, 500m, 1500m, as well as 500m team boat events
*with a fun 100m "try a sprint boat race"
A kayak relay and a tub rec canoe c4 to close out the event
Their club can provide all the gear needed to race.
There will be a BBQ with hot dogs, burgers, and drinks provided.

Yukon River Trail Marathon
The Yukon River Trail Marathon has been running strong for over 25 years! Join them for the 2025 race this August in beautiful Whitehorse, Yukon. The course starts on the Millennium Trail, then travels on single-track to Kwanlin (Miles Canyon) and Canyon City, continues on the Yukon River trail towards Chadburn Lake, follows the beautiful trails along Chadden Lake, Schwatka Lake, and Hidden Lakes to end up near the Whitehorse dam where runners return to the Millennium Trail, and run next to the Yukon river to the finish area.

Yukon Fat Tire Fever
Yukon Fat Tire Fever is a new style of cross-country mountain bike event that's focused on fun! Ride solo or as a 2-person team on Whitehorse's finest XC mountain bike singletrack, including trails alongside the legendary Yukon River. Hardened riders will take on the entire route themselves.
For those looking for some friendly competition and a memorable experience, Yukon Fat Tire Fever also has a 2-person team category. Each person will ride half of the route.
Instead of riders being timed from start to finish, they time just a few sections of the route.
Whomever has the fastest combined time on uphills and downhills wins, but above all they want everyone to simply participate and have fun. This is not an "enduro" race although the format is similar to enduro racing.

Chocolate Claim 10 Miler
Preparing for the Klondike Road Relay? This 10 miler is the perfect training run! Same great route Starting and Finishing at Rotary Park – out the Millennium Trail, South Access to Schwatka Lake Road, through Miles Canyon, back on Chadburn Lake Road to Nistutlin Road, to Alsek Road to Lewes Blvd, and back to Rotary Park
As in past years, this run will not have an aid station and runners must be self supported. The course will be flagged and a gps link will be shared prior to race day; runners are also responsible for knowing the route.
Location: Starts and finishes at the Rotary Park picnic shelter.

The 42nd running of the Klondike Road Relay is coming on September 5-6, 2025.

Yukon River Quest
Yukon River Quest will be held on June 25-28, 2025 from Whitehorse to Dawson City.
Paddlers come from around the world to test their endurance, racing day and night to the Klondike on one of North America’s great rivers. It is open to solo and tandem canoes and kayaks, solo stand-up paddle boards (SUPs), and bigger C4 and Voyageur canoes. Participants paddle 715 km on the Yukon River around the clock from Whitehorse to Dawson City with 10 hours of requisite rest.
What began in 1997 as a fun, historical retracing of the Gold Rush, this race has morphed into one of the top ultramarathon paddling races in the world. It regularly attracts paddlers from around the globe as they come to test their mettle through the remote Yukon wilderness. Categories include tandem, solo and four-person canoe, tandem and solo kayak, Voyageur canoe and SUP.

Trail Day - Ollie's Trail
You may have been enjoying Ollie’s trail on your fat bike as we have been keeping it groomed this winter. Ollie’s trail is a gentle blue square rated trail that extends from the south end of RIPURT to the south side of Grey Mountain road, adjacent to Magnusson parking lot, giving you more single track loop options starting and ending at Magnusson parking lot. This trail is ideal for those who ride with dogs and kids and want to stay off Grey Mountain Road.
You will meet at the RIP pullout (where RIP starts at Grey Mountain Road). Parking is limited, please carpool or ride.
On Trail Days we build and maintain trails in the Whitehorse area. For more information on Trail Days, see our Trail Days page. A CMBC membership is required to attend these events.

Dirt Girls Starts
Every week they ride a new trail (or trails). From the trailhead meeting spot they split up into 3 groups – All skill levels are welcome, rides are led by volunteers who also have a range of skills. Rides are typically divided into 3 groups:
Beginner – Very chill, new riders, beginners and anyone who wants a slower pace.
Intermediate – New riders and anyone who’s ready for a quicker pace.
Advanced – Riders who like to go fast and those looking for a challenge.
Switching between groups can happen week to week depending on who is leading and how you as a rider are feeling on any particular day. Rides average 1h40min in length.
No rider is ever left behind! Each group stays together during the entire ride.
Schedule – Rides start as soon as some trails are dry and continue into the beginning of September. Rides start at 7:00pm. Arrive early to sign in and so we can get divided into ride groups.

Sailing Drop In Nights Begins
Join Yukon Breeze Sailing Society for an evening of recreational dinghy sailing. If sailors are interested, they’ll also drop the marks for a bit of a race or so you can practice your skills rounding marks. Bring your own boat or use one of theirs. Depending on conditions, previous sailing experience may be required.
Their safety boat is in the water for our drop in programming.
They also rent paddleboards for less windy nights & for people who may not be as keen to sail but want to get out on the water.
