Whitehorse Glacier Bears 2023 Tryouts

The Whitehorse Glacier Bears Swim Club (WGB) is hosting a tryout in the later afternoon on Friday, June 9, 2023.

Our tryouts are open to athletes ages 6 – 18 who are able to swim 50 meters (2 lengths) of freestyle unassisted and without stopping.
*All athletes that meet this standard will be invited to tryout. Further details, including start times, will be provided prior to June 9, 2023
*Athletes will be assessed on their swimming capacity, technique and speed
*The number of new swimmers to be welcomed into the club for the 2023-2024 season will be dependent on the available space in each group
*Please note that trying out does not guarantee membership
