Tour de Haines Junction

Saturday, May 14. Time Trial. 11 a.m. start across from the RCMP (park by the gas station and lookout across from RCMP). Route goes from RCMP out to Bear Creek Lodge for 10 km, turn around and back (20 km total).

Saturday, May 14. Hill climb. 3 p.m. start from Bear Creek Lodge (where Time Trial turns around) and goes up the big hill direction of Beaver Creek. Race ends at the top of the hill, which is about a 10 km distance.

Sunday, May 15. Road race. 12 p.m. start at Kathleen Lake lookout, which is a few kilometres before the turn off to the Kathleen Lake campground. Route is to leave the Kathleen Lake lookout, go out 25 km and return to the start. Distances are 100 km for expert men, 50-75 km for expert women/teens, 25 km for youth aged 12 and under.
Event categories: Male and Female U9, U11, U13, U15, U17, U19, adult (novice, sport, expert, masters).
To participate in this event, you need to have a U Kon Echelon club or race-only membership, which includes a 2022 CAY membership.
