Skate Canada Canskate Course
Arctic Edge Skating Club is hosting a Skate Canada Canskate course in Whitehorse at the Canada Games Centre on September 23-24 from 8am to 5pm!
This is an NCCP-recognized course and the pathway for coaching at the
Learn-to-Skate level. Eligibility requirements are:
- Minimum 15 years of age at the time of taking the course
- Complete two online modules before the course date
- Are a Skate Canada member for the 2023-2024 season
- Have passed one 5-star assessment
If you have not passed a 5-star assessment, can fill out an additional form about their skating experience by clicking here.
The fee is $100 for Yukon residents. The course fee will be reimbursed if the participant coaches a minimum of 10 hours for AESC.
